The name of the quest which directly leads to this quest. Use prequest2, etc., for additional prequests.
If the prequest varies by class, enter "Vary". Use preq1musketeer etc. for each class's prequest.
If a note needs to be added after the prequest name, use prequest1mod, etc.

The character level required in order to begin this quest.

class |
The character class required in order to be to begin this quest.

notclass |
If a single character class cannot begin this quest, but all other classes can, enter the class here.

companion |
If this is a companion promotion quest, enter the name of the companion here.

precomplevel |
If this is a companion promotion quest, enter the required companion level.
|
giver |
The name of the NPC that gives the quest.
|
autostart |
If the quest is not given, but starts automatically, enter what triggers the quest to start here
|
giverwld |
The world that the quest giver (or autostart) is located in. Enter "Housing Instance" if the quest occurs in a Housing Item's Instance.

giverloc |
The location that the quest giver (or autostart) is located in.
|
storyline |
Enter "Yes" if this is a storyline quest. (Storyline quests are ones in a direct line from the beginning to end of the story in the game. They can also include instance quests.)

Leave blank.

holiday |
If the quest is a holiday quest, enter the name of the holiday.
|
instance |
Enter "Yes" if this is an instance quest. (It MUST have the Instance Sigil on the quest graphic)
|
arc |
Enter the Arc of the quest. The default is 1. If a quest does not fit into a specific Book or Chapter, enter "No".

book |
If a quest is linked to the Books of the game, enter the minimum book needed for completion here. These do not apply to Level Initiated Quests or Zeke practice point quests.

chapter |
If a quest is linked to the Chapters of the game, enter the minimum chapter needed for completion here. These do not apply to Level Initiated Quests or Zeke practice point quests.

goal1-goal10 |
Enter the various quest goal descriptions here.
If a goal takes place in a new map location, include the location in the goal description.

goal1-1 to goal1-10 |
For use with multi-part quest goals, or sub-goals. Enter a summary of the several goals in the main goal slot, e.g. goal1, then the exact text for the sub-goals in goal1-1, goal1-2, goal1-3 etc.

handin |
Enter the name of the NPC that ends the quest. If the quest ends automatically, enter "Auto".
|
Rewards |
Use the following parameters to display quest rewards:
- rewgold - Gold reward from the quest
- rewxp - Experience reward from the quest
- rewnautxp - Nautical Experience reward from the quest
- rewpp - Practice Point reward from the quest
- rewtp - Companion Training Point reward from the quest
- rewpot - Mojo Potion reward from the quest
- badge - Badge that is directly acquired from the completion of this quest
- promotion - name of an NPC promoted by this quest
- reward#type - This is for personal equipment, housing, ship equipment, ability, pet, snack, or pet gear rewards. Use type names like Hat, Outfit, Boots, Weapon, Furniture, Decoration, Wall Hanging, Ship, Wheel, Ability, Pet, Snack, Pet Gear, etc. (substitute 1-5 for #)
- reward# - If the item does not vary by class, enter the reward name here. (# is 1-5 as above)
- vary# - This is for when the reward type above varies depending upon class. (1-5 for # as above; enter Yes if it varies)
- reward#CLASS - If the item varies by class, use these for the individual items rewarded to each class. (1-5 for # and the name of the class for CLASS). If some classes do not get any reward in this case, enter "None" for those classes.
Example: if a quest rewards Hats which vary by class:

If the quest unlocks access to a Crown Shop Companion, enter the name of the companion here. Use unlockcomp2, etc., for additional companions.

If the postquest varies based by class, enter "Vary" and use the lines postq1musketeer etc. for each class's postquest.
If a note needs to be added to the postquest name, use postquest1mod, etc.

Dialogue Parameters

Enter complete quest dialogue here. Images are preferred (see imagenum below), but text is allowed as well. For text, make sure that who says each statement (NPC, Creature, Narrator) is clearly labelled.

Enter the number of images to be used for quest dialogue. This will activate the images on the page in order to upload them to the proper file names.

Enter the dialogue image numbers which vary based on acquisition of the following companions received at the start of the game: Egg Shen, Kan Po, Kobe Yojimbo, Subodai, & Wing Chun. Each number must be separated by a comma (ex. 1, 3, 6, 81).

Enter the dialogue image numbers which vary based on acquisition of the following companions due to how you lost your parents: Bigus Latro, Dead Mike, Gaspard de Vole, Lucky Jack Russell, & Milo Graytail. Each number must be separated by a comma (ex. 1, 3, 6, 81).
