"Boss Ships" are those ships that have a unique name and a Captain. They can be sunk for a chance at Gold, Scrip and rare, more powerful, ship equipment, or boarded so that the pirate Captain can be fought for Gold and loot. Most skyways have one of these and sometimes two, and they can be roaming among a group of other ships or off on their own. They may be a little harder to sink at an equal nautical level.
