Portal:Creatures

Creatures are the individual enemies that Pirates fight in Battleboard Combat throughout the spiral. They include all enemies fought on land, the flying creatures in the Skyways that Board pirate ships, and the enemy crews encountered on-board enemy Ships. Strength and abilities of enemy creatures will increase as a pirate travels through Worlds and gains abilities and powers.

Confronting Creatures and Ships is one of the major challenges your pirate will face in the game, but happily rewards from them in the way of Drops such as Gold, Scrip and various personal equipment for your pirate, including the rare Pet drop.

Boss Creatures are the more powerful enemies, often located in Instances (also known as Dungeons) accessed by Sigils, so that Pirates may need to Team-Up with other Pirates in order to defeat them. Some Boss Creatures have special, unique items that they drop, either in their treasure chests, or via a Second-Chance Chest. Second-Chance Chests cost Crowns to use.
